Emma Harries suffers season ending injury

Reading’s Emma Harries has announced that she has ruptured her posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and will be out of action for the remainder of the season. The 20-year-old forward picked up the injury whilst on international duty with Lionesses U-23s in their fixture against the Netherlands. Harries has enjoyed a fruitful season and proven herself a crucial figure within Kelly Chambers’ side having registered three goals and two assists this campaign.
